If you look at his father or Jimmy Carter -- neither of whom were terribly successful Presidents -- they went on to become great ex-Presidents. But W. now seems content to continue his ex-Presidency in the same mold as his Presidency -- tearing down the opposition and stubbornly clinging to his broken ideas.
