The point it that with this so called "public option" for health care, we will be spending money that NO ONE HAS. We had to borrow money for Iraq, so where did this money to spend on AGI, CitI Corp., GM, and now health care magically come from? The real issue should be why is it that people complained the government did a poor job managing disaster relief after Katrina, but they are all for the same government managing health care. The State currently pays for the pre-natal care and hospital stay of the mother and child born in poverty; the medical services that the child receives after delivery; the baby formula; the food through a food stamp program; rent and energy assistance; public education; social security. Cradle to grave. When will enough be enough? Why should those that made the sacrifices to afford the necessities in life pay for those that chose the different path? When will all of this stop? I take care of the mentally Insane. I keep up on my reading about these issues.I believe in this presidents view of the future. I plan to do what I can to support him and all that he believes in. Since I take care of the insane, and mentally challenged, I understand how far right many folks can stray. Some are committed, most follow because they were not educated in a liberal household/school were new ideas were entertained. I worry about this presidents safety, because I deal with so many out of control minds in this world. I am a male nurse in south central PA. I take care of the mentally Insane.
