Giving thanks for Sarah Palin. :)

It was a little more than a year ago that John McCain introduced Sarah Palin to us, the final nail in the coffin of his presidential campaign.
As comedians, and humorists, let us take a moment and be thankful – for all she has given us in the past, and all she will give us in [...]

Now on Huffpo. I’m pretty happy about this. :)

Hi.  Welcome to what was my first blog on HuffPost.
Me?  I started as a journalist, morphed into a stand up comedian who focussed with a right-wing POV, and then – when my politics changed in 2005 – took a long (and currently continuing) break from comedy.  (There’s a bio in here for all the specifics [...]

Almost not sick anymore.

Jesus, this cold has been THE WORST.

I should be up and around by Monday, I hope.  I know I missed my window on a lot of cool news, but thems the breaks.  It’s hard to muster righteous indignation when you’re buried under blankets and spent kleenex.
Enjoy the weekend!

Enemy of logic calls Obama “enemy of humanity.”

“Enemy of Humanity.”

Dude, shut up. You’re embarrassing every other human being with opposable thumbs, and some shop teachers that only have one.

NY celebrates Communism; Glenn Beck celebrates having something to cry about.

Counting down to the obligatory teabagger meltdown in three… two… and one.

God, Global Warming and Goobers

This guy is disregarding science while in the same breath, using faith to make decisions. Does this make anybody else’s head explode? That this dolt wants to be a one-man truth squad? And he’s going to travel abroad and remind the rest of the world why we’re ranked in the 20s for both Math and Science?

Spot on, President Carter.

Carter is saying something I’ve been feeling, an discussing, for a while. The anger – the tears of people wanting “Their America” back; the insanity of denying Obama’s birth certificate – that isn’t about health care. That isn’t about the bailout. That anger is a deeper river, and it flows from something other than feeling America has voted for a “Socialist” president.

Apple Wins

I will make money buying the 3Gs (after the eventual E-bay sale) and I can move my cell number at any time.
My reasoning for not owning the new tech was flawed, so I folded.
And yet, I hang my head in shame.  Consumerism… do you ever lose?

Madden 2010! How realistic will it be?

With Madden NFL 10 due for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii on August 14, fans of the football sim will let me pit Larry Fitzgerald against Troy Polamalu in a bit of preseason play thanks to GameStop’s content-exclusive demo. But can I play Favre in a sundress or a diaper?
