I don’t like it when celebrities bitch about paparazzi, and I don’t like it when people who whore their lives out for a reality show get upset when reality bites them in the ass.

So, first, there’s this.

NEW YORK — Reality TV co-stars Jon and Kate Gosselin (GOSS’-lin) say they’re struggling with their marriage and they’re angry at the media intruding in their lives.

The Gosselins and their eight children returned Monday on a new season of the TLC series “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” But the daily challenges of a super-size family lately have been overshadowed by reports of infidelity. Both spouses deny cheating.

On the season premiere, Jon says he hates the media storm, while Kate says it kills her to see the tabloid stories attacking them.

But Kate sadly acknowledges she and Jon have grown apart.

Oh, boo hoo.  

But hey, this ought to be great for the ratings, right?   Maybe they can film the kids crying?  That would be AWESOME television!

Anybody else think this is all just a ploy to get more ratings?

Anybody else wish they didn’t even know who these clownmunches were?

I love that this show is beloved (ick) but everybody finds the Octomom gross because she was gunning for a reality show.  Where do you think she got the idea – from a bubble gum wrapper?

Society loves a freak show.  These people are a freak show.

But they signed up for it.  So, one of a few possibilities are  happening here.  Perhaps:

1)  They’re idiots, and they thought that they could get away with the kind of nonsense that John Edwards couldn’t.

OR

2)  Both of them are manipulative fame whores, and know that controversy sells. 

OR

3)  Kate is cunning as hell, and could smell her marriage going down the toilet and this is setting up the book deal.  The fact that “Kate sadly admits” makes me wonder if “Kate sadly manipulates.”

Regardless, these people are gross.

No sympathy.

No pity.

Not watching.

Hate the fact that I even know about it.

But please – spare me your outrage at the media.  Without the media, you’re the idiots down the block with a soccer team.
