Why the right can’t fully attack Zimmerman

Because if they admit that Trayvon Martin was murdered because of racism, that means racism exists.

If racism exists in Florida, it probably exists in the United States.

And if it exists in the United States, it’s probably directed at our first black president.

So admitting Trayvon Martin was murdered because people are racist, is an admission that some people probably hate the President because simply because he’s black.

And that’s something the GOP water carriers can’t admit, or address.

So it’s about the Birth Certificate.  Or Socialism.  Or a war on religion.  Anything to dodge the conversation.

And so - to continue dodging the conversation - George Zimmerman HAD to be in the right.  Or Trayvon had to be asking for it.

Because otherwise, it’s an admission that there are people who will vote for ANY GOP candidate simply because they don’t like blacks, and vote against Obama simply because of the color of his skin.

    And votes are votes, folks.

Um… Muscles like Captain America?  So… Drugs?  #BadFacebookAds

Romney Claims Obama Will 'End Medicare' - This ass will say anything, spread any lie, to buy the presidency

    Romney Obama End Medicare

WASHINGTON — In a speech Wednesday, Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney attacked President Barack Obama’s signature health care policy by falsely claiming that Obama “has taken a series of steps that end Medicare as we know it.”

Romney’s speech before the American Society of News Editors was clearly an effort to turn the tables after Obama’s own speech before the group on Tuesday, in which the president strongly criticized the federal budget proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan (D-Wis.), chairman of the House Budget Committee. The Ryan budget would cut Medicare and convert it into a voucher program, cut food stamps and health insurance for poor children, and provide large tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. Romney recently called the budget “marvelous.”

“He has taken a series of steps that end Medicare as we know it,” Romney said Wednesday, referring to Obama. “He is the only president to ever cut $500 billion from Medicare. And, as a result, more than half of doctors say they will cut back on treating seniors.”

Democrats have scored political gains by using that same phrase — “end Medicare as we know it” — to attack the Republicans who have voted for or endorsed the budget proposed by Ryan last year. An April 2011 Wall Street Journal story reported, “The plan would essentially end Medicare,” because it would replace the existing government insurance for seniors with vouchers for private insurance. Ryan recently rolled out a similar budget proposal, which would give seniors the option to select vouchers, but would not eliminate the government insurance. Because the vouchers would not track projected increases in health care costs, many economists have criticized the plan for cutting benefits to seniors.

Romney himself has suggested giving seniors the option to receive Ryan-like vouchers in lieu of Medicare, but has not proposed ending the government insurance plan.

Dear Romney: You really shouldn’t be talking about people “establishing a religion.”

    So, Mittens said this today:

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Monday said that President Barack Obama had taken his war on faith to the next level by wanting to establish a new “religion” for the purpose of rejecting all religious doctrines.

At an event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a supporter asked the candidate what the Obama administration’s motive was for mandating that the health insurance provided by all religious institutions cover contraceptives for women.

“I think there is in this country a war on religion,” Romney replied. “I think there is a desire to establish a religion in America known as secularism.”

“They gave it a lot of thought and they decided to say that in this country that a church — in this case, the Catholic Church — would be required to violate its principles and its conscience and be required to provide contraceptives, sterilization and morning after pills to the employees of the church. … We are now all Catholics. Those of us who are people of faith recognize this is — an attack on one religion is an attack on all religion.”

He added: “It’s one more reason we need to get rid of Obamacare. It’s also one more reason we need to get rid of Obama.”

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), who was campaigning with Romney, explained that Obama’s philosophy was to treat “our Constitutional rights as revocable privilege from our government.”

“If that’s what this president is willing to do in a tough election year, imagine what he’ll do after the election if he never has to face the voters ever again,” Ryan warned. “We should never give our government that kind of power.”

Dictionary.com defines secularism as “a system of political or social philosophy that rejects all forms of religious faith and worship.”

First, kudos on continuing the “War on Women.”  That’s going to work out fabulously for you in the general election. (It won’t).
Second, don’t tell me “We are all catholics.”  We aren’t.  Neither are you.
And finally, I will be the first person to say that picking on you because of your Mormon faith is unfair.  It’s going to happen, but it’s unfair.
But considering your faith is less than 200 whatever years old, the last thing you should be doing is mocking someone else’s faith.  Keep religion out of it.
Go toe to toe on policy (you can’t).  Fight on the economy (you can’t).  Talk about how out of touch he is (Oh, wait, you’re worth 250 million).  But don’t mock the dude’s faith when Obama wouldn’t stoop the low.
Rumors exist that you’re going to “Unzip” and show us who you really are.

If this is who you are, stay zipped.

George Zimmerman son of judge with sealed closed arrest record in FL.

Not a regular blog post, please help spread the word.  So far I have no hard verification of this, feel free to help me credit or discredit this information.  I was told this originated with a east coast, left wing radio show but that also is not verified.

In regards to Trayvon Martin:  THIS JUST IN: ” Now we know why George Zimmerman didn’t get arrested….No Words…….According to court records George Zimmerman is the son of retired Supreme Court Magistrate Judge Robert J Zimmerman, his mother Gladys Zimmerman is a court clerk….He has three closed arrests 7/18/05 for resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer div 10……..8/9/05 for domestic violence div 44….. And again on 8/10/05 domestic violence div 46 ***

    UPDATE from Crooks and Liars:

The lead investigator in Trayvon Martin shooting wanted manslaughter charge against Zimmerman. The lead investigator, Chris Serino, “stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman’s version of events.” His recommendation for a manslaughter charge was overruled by state attorney Norman Wolfinger, who subsequently removed himself from the case. Insane Santorum insanely offers his insane self up as insane Vice Presidential choice. Because he’s insane.

    Seriously.

If he fails to best Mitt Romneyin the race for the party nomination, Rick Santorum would be open to serving as vice president, the former Pennsylvania senator told the Christian Broadcast Network on Monday.

Here’s a partial transcript of the interview with CBN’s David Brody, which will air later this week:

Brody: If he for some reason asks you to be the vice presidential candidate on his ticket? I know, after is all said and done. Would you even consider it?

Santorum: Of course. I mean, look. I would do in this race as I always say, this is the most important race in our country’s history. I’m going to do everything I can. I’m doing everything I can. I’m out there. In the last 10 months, I’ve had five days off. Two for Thanksgiving, and three for Christmas.

I’ve been working every single day. My wife and my kids, we’re just busting our tail, because we know their future and all of our children’s future is at stake in this election. And I don’t want to be the guy who has to sit with my granddaughter, 20 years from now, and tell stories about an America where people once were free. I don’t want to have that conversation.

Brody: So, you’re keeping your options open.

Santorum: I’ll do whatever is necessary to help our country.

Yeah, after your last few classless days, I’m sure Mitt’s gonna welcome you with open arms.

Between this and raving on the steps of the Supreme Court today, I’m wondering if you should be taken in for observation.

Help our country?  I’m terrified you’re going to harm yourself.  Note to his family: Please keep the sharp things away from Rick.

    Lunatic.

Santorum and Gingrich fight for the basest of the base.

Now Rick Santorum has something to say about Obama having something to say about Trayvon Martin:

“Santorum said on Friday that the president should “not use these types of horrible and tragic individual cases to try to drive a wedge in America.”

What is driving a wedge in America are things like George Zimmerman shooting an unarmed Trayvon Martin and the police in Florida still not taking him in for questioning.

What should be helping the country deal with it, are things like the President helping to put things in focus.

What’s making it worse are asshole candidates using it to pander to a base. The one that doesn’t like the black guy talking.  The one that’s indifferent to a black kid getting shot.

Which reminds me: Congratulations, Santorum, on your resounding win in the GOP primary in Louisiana.

    You’re despicable, both of you.

Nobody gives a crap about your opinion on Trayvon Martin, Gingrich.

    Nobody.

And yet, today, he decided to get all indignant at Barack Obama for having an opinion about a racially motivated child-killing in Florida.

Newt Gingrich speaks at a rally

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich harshly criticized President Obama for commenting on Trayvon Martin’s race as he extended condolences to the 17-year-old shooting victim’s parents on Friday. Obama said, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon,” a remark that Gingrich said he found “disgraceful” and “appalling.”

“What the president said, in a sense, is disgraceful,” Gingrich said on the Hannity Radio show. “It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background.

“Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot, that would be OK because it didn’t look like him. That’s just nonsense dividing this country up. It is a tragedy this young man was shot. It would have been a tragedy if he had been Puerto Rican or Cuban or if he had been white or if he had been Asian American of if he’d been a Native American. At some point, we ought to talk about being Americans. When things go wrong to an American, it is sad for all Americans. Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong. I really find it appalling.”

No, asshat.  He’s not saying it would have been OK if a white kid had gotten shot.  But thanks for the race-baiting.

What Obama is saying - which any rational human being would understand if they weren’t desperately fishing for anti-Obama white guy votes - is if the President had a boy, that child might have looked like Travyon, and if that child had walked around George Zimmerman’s neighborhood, George Zimmerman might have shot that child.

Because of the color of that child’s skin.  Because he was black.

Which WOULDN’T have happened is if one of your children put on a hoodie and walked around the neighborhood.  Because that child would be white.

But between this and your indigence at the DeNiro joke, you’re officially the David Duke of this election.  You’re fighting for the ignorant white vote while pretending to be the intellectual.  I’m sure that’s going to work out FABULOUSLY.

Now run down to Louisiana and play nice with your friends who look like you, you puffy, arrogant sack of crap.  There are votes to barely get and an election to lose because you are an unelectable loon.

Geraldo blames Trayvon Martin’s murder on his hoodie. F*** you, Geraldo.

It wasn’t the insane bigot that killed Travon Martin, it was his hoodie.  At least, that’s what’s rattling around in the pea-brained skull of Geraldo Rivera.

    Geraldo Rivera Trayvon Martin

Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera attributed Trayvon Martin’s tragic death to his hoodie on Friday morning’s “Fox and Friends.”

Martin, an unarmed Florida teenager, wasshot to death by a self-appointed neighborhood watch volunteer named George Zimmerman in late February. His death has become a national tragedy, andthe police handling of Zimmerman has further fueled uproar over the case.

On Friday morning, Rivera said that he had a “different take” on the case than most other people. He said that he believed George Zimmerman should be “investigated to the fullest extent of the law” and “prosecuted” if criminally liable, but blamed Martin’s parents for letting him go outside wearing a hoodie.

“But I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly to not let their children go out wearing hoodies,” Rivera insisted. “I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.

I don’t even need to comment on this.  Or make a joke about the kind of assumptions you can make about people with stupid, bushy, villain mustaches.

All I really need to do is get the word out on this.

And you can do the rest.

    WHAT AN ASS..
