So, does this a-hole from Minnesota get to continue walking around like she’s not complicit in the death of this census worker? Or do we finally start holding people accountable for their words and actions?

I’m sure she’ll wake up tomorrow, surrounded by thread count and people telling her what she wants to hear. I’m sure tomorrow, she’ll blather on about something with zero insight, and no concern for consequence.

And Bill Sparkman will be dead.

Congratulations, Michelle Bachman, lunatic from Minnesota. You’ve made a difference.

I don’t know who I want to let down more!

Ooops.

Ooops.

The legal fight between Al Franken and Norm Coleman is headed to the desk of Gov. Tim Pawlenty — a no-win predicament for a Minnesota Republican with his eye on a White House run in 2012.

Franken won big Tuesday when a three-judge panel allowed the review of no more than 400 absentee ballots in a race he currently leads by 225 votes. Coleman’s camp says an appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court is coming; once that’s done, the dispute lands in Pawlenty’s lap.

If Franken’s ahead at that point, Pawlenty will have a choice: sign the election certificate that will allow Democrats to seat Franken in the Senate or play to the Republicans whose support he’d need in 2012 by withholding the certificate while Coleman challenges the election in the federal court system.

So now, this upper midwest cog in the GOP machine has to make a choice – serve his people, or be a fold monkey to the machine.

And since 2000-2008 was all about the President being a fold monkey to the machine, it’s not a good position to be in.

I don’t know enough about Pawlenty to know the kind of person he is, or whether or not this weighs on him as a human, rather than a politician.

But on principal, holy crap, do I enjoy watching him twist.
