 Ever since the idiocy of “Balloon Boy,” I have been pining for the moment where fame-whores finally cross a line, and face serious repercussions for their stupidity.  So, I say this: Joe the Bummer (Huffpo’s term, not mine) gets one chance to do what’s right for the party that he claims is still his. And if he doesn’t, boot him like the manipulative whore he is, back to the streets with his ugly dress that doesn’t make him look anymore like a democrat than some of those dresses on dudes in Santa Monica make them look like ladies.  So much stuff over the last few weeks. Here’s a little bit on a lot. It’s a crock pot of crap! Glenn Beck wants to give it to members of the Tea Party? I dunno – maybe if there’s some sort of lesser version of the prize – like the kind they hand out at T-ball where everybody gets a medal – for the intellectual conversational skills of a three-year old. Otherwise, probably not.  I know this is more of a finger to the eye of Shrub than it is a win for Obama, but I don’t really care.  Settle down. Breathe. Take a step back before you let Oprah Winfrey drag your butt halfway around the world on a fool’s errand. You have more important things right in front of you.  So, if you’ve been following the MSM of late, you’d get the feeling that Obama’s popularity is in free fall. That it’s some sort of death spiral that no president can pull out of. While I’m sure he’s losing some support – who wants to be pals with somebody who gets screamed at all the time? It’d be like having to hang around with one of those eunuchs on Hollywood Husbands – there’s a point that seems to have been completely ignored.  Carter is saying something I’ve been feeling, an discussing, for a while. The anger – the tears of people wanting “Their America” back; the insanity of denying Obama’s birth certificate – that isn’t about health care. That isn’t about the bailout. That anger is a deeper river, and it flows from something other than feeling America has voted for a “Socialist” president.  Just to say it – No “Gates / Crowley” beer summit necessary here. During a CNBC interview on Monday, President Obama called hip-hop artist Kanye West a “jackass” over his behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards. (Watch video of Kanye at the VMAs here.) |
